Map and Directions to Cúl na Sméar Hall
Directions: The 'cannot get lost' directions to Cúl na Sméar are to take the N25 to Dungarvan, County Waterford. Take the Park Hotel Roundabout past the Park Hotel's entrance. Stay on this road until you reach Cúl na Sméar Hall. That's it! One road all the way.
The five mile drive takes you past the Dungarvan Mart, then across the Colligan River at Ballyneety Bridge. You'll start rising into the hills and come to a series of hairpin bends. Take these and just stay on the same road. You'll top out and travel through farm country. Then the road goes downhill and ends at an X shaped crossroads. Yellow coloured Cúl na Sméar Hall is directly in front of you and gold coloured Cúl na Sméar School is just opposite the Hall. You're there!
From Clonmel Direction: 18 miles to the Petrol Station at Beary's Cross. Follow the sign for Kilbrien to Kilbrien Church. Follow the sign for Cúl na Sméar.
Notes: N25 is the Waterford-Cork Road. R672 is the Clonmel-Dungarvan Road. N72 is the main Waterford-Cappoquin-Killarney Road (though it's a couple hundred miles to Killarney).
