Classes

There are currently beginner, intermediate and advanced classes in all traditional instruments. These include:

Accordion

Cúl Cheoil

Song
Banjo Dance Tin Whistle
Concert Flute Fiddle Uilleann Pipes
Concertina Harp Adult Céilí Dancing & Music Sessions

As well, performance of music, song and dance is promoted through the concert group Cúl Cheoil.

All Classes are for One Half Hour

Mondays in Cúl na Smear Hall

7.45pm - Beginner's Concert Flute
8.15pm - 2nd year Flute
8.45pm - Advanced Tin Whistle
9.15 pm - Advanced Flute
9.45pm - Senior Flute

Wednesdays in Ballinroad Hall

From 5.30 to 7.30pm - Beginner's  and Junior Fiddle

Fridays in Cúl na Smear School

From 5.30pm - Beginner's Tin whistle, Fiddle and Concertina
5.30 to 9.00pm - Junior and Advanced Accordion and Concertina
6.30pm - Beginners Flute
6.30 to 8.00pm - Junior Fiddle and Tin whistle
7.00 to 8.30pm - Beginner's Accordion
8.00pm - Harp

Fridays in Ballinroad Hall

5.00 to 7.00 - Beginner's and Junior Tin Whistle  

Saturdays in Cúl na Smear Hall

Every two weeks From 12.00 noon - Advanced Fiddle

Adult Céilí Class and Music Sessions ("The Slow Session")

Every Monday in Coolnasmear Hall - Music Session begins at 7:15pm
Céilí and Set dancing classes for adults at 8:15 pm
